I'm walking through the halls and eye a couple guys wandering by, wearing two inch heels and making a point to never cover my chest with the books clutched under my arm. My generous bosom is one advantage I have over more than ninety percent of the fourth year class, and I know it.
Spike has been pretty absent for a couple days now, I haven't really even seen him, but of course I'm not worried, because ya know, he's unreliable and everything.
I'd send him an owl, but those are less private and more unreliable than anyone thinks. Nope, a watched pot never boils, and a sought after boy never shows up. I have more than enough patience to wait him out.
And who should I see bettween classes but Wesley Wyndam Pryce. I glance around to see if anyone's looking before I wave him down.

I met the vampire kid on patrol last night. Well, not so much met, as attacked. He was talking to some Hufflepuff outside an entrance when I jumped him. Can I really be blamed for jumping a vampire who's sneaking around the school under cover of darkness? Everyone knows that sometimes demons do get as bold as to leave the forbidden forest and wander near the school at night. He should hav known to stay out of my way.
And talk about annoying. Annoying and stupid. With cigarette-breath and wierd white hair. I swear I caught him checking me out. eew, really, I am so out of his league.
The kid who he was talking to for some reason I can't quite figure yet, his name is Wesley, a watcher type. He made all this noise about the council and how great they are and all that, but I get the feeling he's just brainwashed. I try to make an effort not to allign myself with nerds, for the most part. Although, I do have to give him points for bravery. It takes guts to talk to the resident bully and the most popular girl in school all in one night.
Anyway, tommorow evening I'm indulging him by taking in a fencin lesson. I can't imagine me using anything smaller than a broadsword, but I have experience with these watcher guys, once they think they can teach you something they just wont let it go.

So aparently Ariel is completely smitten on Fox. Um, can I just say, ew? Not that he doesn't have his merits or anything, but he's completely not her type. She's going to realize that when she starts hanging out with him, he's boring, and incapable of carrying a conversation on his own...girls think that's mysterious at first...ooh...he's all secretive...like he's a challenge or something. But they all end up discovering that it's actually him just being boring.
The really sad part is, while Fox is getting all that attention, I am utterly dateless. If this dry spell keeps up I might actually be considering one of the weasley twins...MIGHT. It's a long shot.
I'm sitting on the staircase outside the dormitory scoping guys and pondering the enigma of the day: since when are vampires allowed in hogwarts? If they're going to start being good I'm going to need a heads up, because I'm strictly stake first, ask questions later girl. You'd think someone would actually tell me about this...I need to talk to a teacher about it.
oh looky, here comes one.

It's the first day back to Hogwarts, bounced back from the changes of last year, like I knew I would. I figure I've just got to deal with this slayer thing, it's not really going away, well, ever. Fate always comes in and screws up my plans, doesn't it? Fox has been going out of his way to be extra irritating already, how very like him. My parents were absolutely delighted when I was called, well sure they would be, they don't have to give up thier evenings to fight evil, now do they?
It's not that I don't like Hogwarts, I do. It's as good a place to go to school as any, okay, probably better, I'll admit, but it's still school. Oh! my room is so posh, I do actually hope I don't have to get in any fights with the girls in there, last year I was in so much trouble all the time...The crazy girl from France I met on the train is in my room, doubt I'll have any problems with her, I think maybe her grasp of english isn't so good....and the rest of the girls have been pretty decent, guess people heard about a few of the incidents last year and are giving me a pretty wide birth...
as if I need anyone else thinking I'm a a freak...great.
